One Nation NSW leader Mark Latham has become embroiled in yet another controversy with Independent MP Alex Greenwich – this time over possum skin.
Sydney MP Mr Greenwich is currently suing Mr Latham over an anti-gay tweet he posted in March, and the One Nation leader has threatened to counterclaim for defamation.
But the final battle between the warring pair involves a possum skin that has gone missing from an exhibition hosted by Mr Greenwich at NSW Parliament House.

The Museum of Futures exhibit invites viewers to “contemplate our shared past and envision our shared future,” though Latham called it “pure garbage.”
Earlier this week, part of the opossum’s skin mysteriously disappeared from display.
Mr Latham denied taking the pelt, but admitted that he had “borrowed” two other parts of the exhibition, “a children’s book about enjoying farts” and “a display of solar-powered sunglasses.”
He said he took the items to the chamber of the NSW House of Lords to show Nationals MP Sam Farraway how “crazy” the exhibit was.
“The art display is pure rubbish,” Mr Latham told the Sunday Telegraph.
A parliamentary source claimed the missing pelt was later ‘retrieved’ from Mr Latham’s office by a member of staff.
The item has since been returned to the exhibition.
Mr. Greenwich said, “It’s an exhibition, not a library.”
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Mr Latham for comment.
Mr Greenwich said on May 1 that he was suing Mr Latham for defamation after the One Nation politician refused to apologize for March’s tweet describing man-on-man sex as disgusting.
The Sydney MP also lodged complaints with the NSW Police and Anti-Discrimination NSW alleging defamation.
Mr Latham has refused to apologize for the tweet and continued his latest attack on Mr Greenwich on May 3, accusing him of ‘starting’ the online feud.
His comment came as Pauline Hanson revealed she still supported Mr Latham as NSW leader, even though she condemned him for the tweet.

Mr Greenwich had called Mr Latham a ‘disgusting human being’ after attending a religious gathering in Sydney in March.
The event turned into chaos as members clashed with LGBTQI activists.
Mr Latham disagreed with Mr Greenwich’s comment and responded with the inflammatory tweet which has since been deleted.
‘Awful? How does that compare to sticking your dick in a guy’s ass and covering him in shit?” He wrote.
Mr Latham admitted his words were ‘too rude to stay there’ as he further elaborated on the debacle during a conversation with radio station 2HD on May 3.
The One Nation leader in NSW deleted the tweet shortly after, but followed up with another tweet that read ‘Never apologize, never explain’.
“If Alex Greenwich wants to say that NSW police should post this kind of police words (his homophobic tweet) on Twitter, the police can start with his own words,” Mr Latham said.
“If you want to talk about insulting words, calling someone ‘a disgusting human being’ for going to a meeting in a church hall with the pastor on stage, you can take offense and the police can investigate him.”
He accused Mr Greenwich of starting the row.
“This man who started this dispute doesn’t like the way I reacted. I’ll tell you what, he’s got a glass jaw,’ he said.
“I don’t regret saying that as a straight man, the thought of someone holding a gun to my head and telling me to have anal sex with another man is disgusting to me.
“That’s what makes me straight.”

He said he doesn’t think what he said about Mr Greenwich was “unfair to say, given the nature of his attack on me.”
“It was crude and the words had to come down and they did,” he said.
“He provoked this, he started this. Where’s the excuse for describing me as ‘a disgusting human being’?’ said Mr. Latham.
He added that if Mr Greenwich ‘perseveres’ in suing him ‘I will have a counterclaim. If he wants to speak slander, (what he said) utterly slanderous.’
