One man was killed and two seriously injured in a shooting at a Colorado mall on Christmas Eve.
The shooting broke out after police say a fight broke out between two groups of people at the Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs, about 70 miles (110 kilometers) south of Denver.
Officials were called to the scene around 4:40 p.m., half an hour before the closure was scheduled for Sunday.
Police found a man shot to death and other men, each with at least one gunshot wound, who were taken to hospital in serious condition.
A woman was also taken to hospital with minor injuries, excluding gunshot wounds.

Several people were arrested at the scene as part of the investigation, police said.
Officials are trying to determine which of them was the shooter.
The victims have not been named.
A witness named Travis told 11 News they heard several shots before chaos broke out.
“I first heard four, and then I see everyone running out of the playground,” the man told local media. “They told everyone to get out, and then they just let go. I don't know how many gunshots came after that.'
The mall was evacuated at 8 p.m. but is expected to remain closed until Tuesday.

Ocala police confirmed one man was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
The shooter is believed to be a black man wearing a dark hoodie, black pants and a mask partially covering his face, Ocala Police Chief Mike Balken said.
