One game to go! Boston Celtics close in on first NBA Championship in 16 years as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown star to seal 3-0 lead over Dallas

Despite a late surge from the Dallas Mavericks, the Boston Celtics were able to hold off their opponents on the road and take a commanding 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals with a 106-99 win.

The Celtics rode a strong third quarter in the fourth, but Dallas got off to a hot start to keep the game close as the seconds ticked down.

Mavericks star Luka Doncic hit a foul after foul with just over four minutes left in the game, depriving Dallas of a key shot taker.

Couple shots down the stretch from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown helped Boston keep the lead.

Brown in particular came out strong in the second half, having recorded just six points in the first two quarters before finishing the night with 30 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
