Olympics water polo player Blaire McDowell left BLEEDING from nasty cut to her eye during Canada’s brutal clash against Italy

Canadian water polo player Blaire McDowell was left bleeding in a collision in their Olympic classification match against Italy on Thursday.

Due to the physical nature of the competition, McDowell unfortunately suffered a collision, sustaining a cut over her left eye.

Whether the cut will mean she will be unable to participate in Saturday’s match for seventh place (who her opponent will be is yet to be determined) remains to be seen.

Before he ended up bloodied in the pool, McDowell scored one of Canada’s five goals in the 10-5 loss to the Italians.

Axelle Crevier, Emma Wright, Kindred Paul and Elyse Lemay-Lavoie also scored for the Canucks.
