Olympic gold medalist Emma McKeon and her singer boyfriend Cody Simpson look loved-up as they celebrate her retirement at glitzy Omega House event in Paris

Emma McKeon and her boyfriend Cody Simpson looked like a real power couple as they gathered in Paris for the OMEGA Seamaster Night.

The 30-year-old swimmer, Australia’s most decorated Olympian, celebrated her big success in the pool and her retirement with Cody, 27, on Monday night.

Emma won three Olympic medals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris: gold in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay, silver in the 4×100-meter medley relay and bronze in the mixed 4×100-meter medley relay.

She holds an Australian record 14 Olympic medals and has retired from competitive swimming with great pleasure after her three medals in Paris 2024.

Emma celebrated her retirement and had the biggest smile on her face as she put on a fun show with her friend and biggest supporter Cody, who was traveling with her to Paris for the Olympics.

For the occasion, Emma looked stunning in a baby blue Scanlan Theodore dress, which she teamed with a pair of black strappy sandals.

She carried her essentials in a black designer bag and kept her accessories to a minimum: a watch and modest diamond earrings.

Meanwhile, pop star and now competitive swimmer Cody looked handsome in a royal blue jacket, which he paired with a white shirt and black trousers.

Although he did not qualify for the Olympics himself, Cody was Emma’s biggest supporter when she won the competition in Paris.

He was recently spotted wearing a cute T-shirt with Emma’s face and name on it, giving a nod to her impressive career as Australia’s most decorated Olympic athlete.

“We’re all proud of her,” Cody enthused on Nine after Emma’s first major victory in the pool at the event in Paris.

Cody, who narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Games himself, went with Emma to Paris to support her in her bid for Olympic gold.

After winning bronze, silver and gold at the Games, Emma celebrated her retirement and admitted she doesn’t know what the future holds for her.

She ended her legendary Olympic career with an Australian record six gold medals in her 14-year career, including three silver and five bronze.

“I will definitely miss it,” the three-time Olympian said when she retired on Monday.

‘It has given me many wonderful relationships and experiences and has shaped me into the person I am.

‘I will miss the training and the racing, but I am absolutely ready for the next part of my life and I am looking forward to it.’

“I’m really happy that I was able to do my part when the Olympics finally came around,” she said of her final appearance in the pool before retiring.

Her boyfriend Cody, however, failed to qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris during the Australian time trials, thus shattering his dream of representing his country on the big stage.
