Cody Simpson may not be competing in the Paris Olympics, but the pop star turned swimmer is no doubt enjoying his trip to France.

Simpson, 27, failed to qualify for this year’s sporting highlight at the Australian time trials, dashing his dream of representing his country on the biggest stage.

But he has flown to Paris to cheer on his former teammates and his girlfriend Emma McKeon, Australia’s most decorated Olympic athlete, in their bid to bring home a raft of medals.

Simpson has also been taking in the sights of Paris and was snapped at the famous Moulin Rouge on Tuesday.

According to News Corp, he went out for a night out with his swimming colleagues Cameron Usher, Bowen Gough and Matt Ferraro.

A photo of Simpson with a bunch of dancing girls was posted by Jasmine Bard, an Australian in the ladies’ company.

“Nice to meet you,” she wrote on social media, captioning it with an Australian flag.

She uploaded a photo with the boys and added: “I hope you enjoyed the show.”

McKeon won gold in the 4x100m freestyle relay on Saturday and hopes to win gold again later this week.

During her stay in Paris she is staying in the Olympic village. Her stay in Paris has been criticized and critics have called her ‘woke’.

The organizers of the Paris Olympics were determined to make these the most sustainable Games ever, prioritizing a green approach in almost every area.

However, this aggressive focus on environmental friendliness has led to terrible conditions for competitors striving for greatness in the French capital, meaning that few world records have been broken to date.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, which makes them unpleasantly stuffy, and they are all equipped with standard cardboard beds.

Australian swimming queen Ariarne Titmus called the conditions “ridiculous”.

“It probably wasn’t the time I thought I could, but living in the Olympic Village makes it difficult to perform,” she admitted in an interview on Sunday.

‘It’s certainly not meant for top performances, it’s about who can really keep it together in their mind.’
