Olympia Valens has opened up about her heartbreaking fertility journey after suffering two pregnancy losses.
The actress, 30, who is married to former AFL star Tom Bellchambers, said she is now afraid to get excited about any pregnancy due to previous losses she has experienced.
Olympia previously miscarried twins in 2020 and then recently miscarried her second pregnancy at six weeks.
“I didn’t get excited even once, because I just need to protect myself.” And only when I reach 12 weeks will I really believe that I’m pregnant,” she told Stellar magazine.
“Telling my loved ones was probably the hardest part of it all.” The people in our lives know how much it means to us, how hard we’ve worked for so long and the disappointments we’ve experienced,’ she continued.

“We told them the good news and that the embryo had taken, while also preparing them that this might not work out.” So they were very, very supportive. But I know she’ll hang up and cry a little.’
The former “Neighbor” star and her husband Tom are still trying to conceive, both naturally and through IVF.
In July, Valance revealed that she had miscarried the twin babies during the Covid pandemic.
“I didn’t get excited even once, because I just need to protect myself.” And only when I reach 12 weeks will I really believe that I’m pregnant,” she told Stellar magazine.
“Thomas and I miscarried the twins, right in the middle of Covid, which, as you can imagine, was excruciatingly painful,” she said in the video.
“We haven’t been able to get pregnant since then.” It would be two years of really trying,” the actress continued.
“For any woman or couple trying to conceive, there is no worse pain than seeing a negative pregnancy test every month. Your heart is breaking in two.’

Olympia said she was reluctant to “go down the IVF route” because she had “never been good with hormones”.
“Adding more hormones to my raging cycle scares the hell out of me,” she admitted, but said she’s not seeing a fertility specialist.
“I want babies and I will do everything in my power to get them,” Olympia concluded.
Olympia and football player Thomas (34) got married in June last year.
