Football for Change was launched in 2021 by a range of Premiere League icons, with the initiative already raising almost £1 million.

The charity project aims to help significantly lifting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds out of poverty by providing grants for life-changing opportunities in both education and employment.

Fundraising took place last year has released more than £150,000 in grants to charities and organizations across the country, including the Dame Kelly Holmes Foundation, Everton in the Community and the Liverpool FC Foundation.

Olly’s involvement in the show comes after he admitted he is ‘sad’ to be leaving The Voice next season after an incredible six years on the show.

After the twelfth series hits screens in November, the singer’s time on the show will come to an end.

But ahead of his latest series, the Voice coach has also teased a huge new, exciting twist that fans can look forward to as well.

Speaking ahead of the new series, Olly said: ‘I’m so proud of this show. When I started, I never thought I would be here for six or seven years.

“I’m sad to leave, but so happy to have been part of the show. I hope this series is the best yet!

“A big secret is that even though there are four coaches on the show, there’s someone else pushing the button this year and it’s not a coach!”

Olly, Anne-Marie, Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am return once again as the superstar Coaches in the iconic chairs.

Presenter Emma Willis also returns to direct all the action and as Olly said, there’s a special surprise guest joining the series.

This year, for the first time, groups were allowed to audition for their chance to be crowned champions.

Contestants will take to the stage in a bid to be crowned the winner of this series, securing a recording contract with Universal Records and winning a huge cash prize of €50,000 and a luxury holiday.

The Voice has apparently fired a second coach following Olly’s scathing attack on the singing show after his own departure was confirmed.

ITV has reportedly cut ties with Anne-Marie from the Rotating Red Chairs ahead of the 2024 series to give the show a ‘refresh’.

The Essex beauty joined Olly, Tom Jones and will.i.am on the show in 2021 and seemed to go down well with viewers.

However, it is now claimed that bosses are looking to bring in new industry stars to appeal to a younger audience.

A source told the The sun: ‘Anne-Marie loved being part of the show, but producers want to revamp the series.

‘ITV want to make sure the show attracts teenagers, so they always look at who’s hot in the music world.’

When contacted by MailOnline, ITV did not deny that Anne-Marie had been axed from The Voice.

The Voice UK starts on Saturday November 4 at 8.25pm on ITV1, ITVX and STV
