Olly Murs boasts that his sex life is still as good as ever since the birth of his daughter.

The singer, 40, welcomed baby Madison with wife Amelia, 32, five months ago and made the revelation in an interview with The sun.

He said, “Our sex life has not been affected at all, and I’m not lying when I say that.

“It’s just finding time around the baby. If I’m not cleaning up diapers or feeding, I ask her, ‘When are we going to get some of that?'”

Olly admitted he felt guilty about going on tour so soon after his wife gave birth, explaining that he’s more worried now because he’s a “girl dad.”

He said, ‘I know how tough a boy has to be because I’ve been there. I knew what kind of parent I would be with a boy. There would be a certain discipline. But having a girl changed that.’

Just two days after his daughter Madison was born in April, Olly went on tour supporting Take That.

The pop star left his wife Amelia at home with his mother-in-law to care for their little miracle. Despite regular messages with updates about the baby, the new father admitted that he found it annoying to be away from home and miss important moments.

Olly praised his wife and explained that although everything was fine, the tour was still taking a toll on the family.

He said, “That was the hardest part of fatherhood for me so far — leaving Madison. I felt like I wasn’t really there. I felt like I wasn’t connected to her, and she was like, ‘Who is this guy?'”

He added that the couple work together to overcome the challenges of touring and Olly explained that they find it difficult because he can’t take paternity leave and works irregular hours.

Although everything was going smoothly at home, the singer was frustrated by over-enthusiastic fans who interrupted his pleasant family time.

Olly told the publication that things have become so difficult that he has had to take drastic measures.

The star revealed that he is unable to participate in daily family activities and is therefore staying home instead of taking his daughter Madison to swimming lessons or sensory classes.

Rather than asking his fans to leave him alone, Olly admitted he prefers to stay away from them as he finds the encounters awkward.

The Dance With Me Tonight singer explained that while no one takes pictures when he’s out with his daughter, he’s still protective of her and avoids fans. He added that he tries to separate his life as a pop star from his fatherhood.

And in between performances, Olly seems more than happy changing nappies and spending time with his ‘girls’ like home.
