Olly Murs has admitted that planning the wedding to his fiancée Amelia Tank has left the couple arguing more than ever in four years.

The singer, 38, got down on one knee to propose to his bodybuilder girlfriend, 30, in June last year and the couple have been getting involved in planning his big day.

On Wednesday he appeared on Heart Breakfast to speak with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden to reveal details of the upcoming wedding, where he hinted that it will be a summer wedding and that the location of his bachelor party will be somewhere that begins with the letter ‘G’. ‘.

Speaking candidly on the radio show, Olly said the date is a “top secret” that he “can’t tell anyone.”

When asked how involved he’s been in the planning, Olly quipped, “I’m just paying for it.”

He added: ‘That’s basically it, here’s a bill, pay it. No, to be honest with you, that’s a joke. I’m really enjoying it actually; More than I thought it would.

‘I didn’t realize how much it costs. But it’s a lot of fun. We’re having a great time. And it’s just… we’ve had some discussions, some fights. But that happens…’

Olly later admitted: ‘The most we’ve had an argument in our relationship in four years.

‘But it’s good. We only disagree on a couple of things, but it’s going to be a beautiful, very special day. And yesterday, she was choosing my outfit…

‘And it really hit me yesterday. I got pretty excited actually.

Discussing his stag do plans, Olly revealed: ‘We’re leaving… but I know where he is…’

Last year, Olly said his bodybuilder girlfriend was ‘The One’ after a ‘make or break’ holiday early in their relationship.

The X Factor star, who has been dating bodybuilder Amelia since 2019, revealed that their first official vacation together, a two-week trip to Morocco, sealed the deal.

He told New magazine: ‘We both definitely knew. After two or three days, Amelia and I looked at each other and said, ‘yeah, this is kind of like that now, isn’t it?’ We both told each other that we loved each other.

Olly continued, “When we got back from that trip, Amelia said, ‘I knew right away that you were the one I was going to spend the rest of my life with,’ and I said the same thing.”

He revealed that Amelia had told them that the holidays would ‘make or break’ them as a couple, and that the former would happen.

The singer also admitted that he believed settling down was a “big thing” and that he “fought against” finding love for so long until Amelia walked into his life.

It comes after Olly posted some lovely vacation photos in January from a recent vacation he took with Amelia.

The singer shared photos from his trip to Barbados with his 4.2 million followers, showing off the stunning couple’s perfect abs.

He used the post as an opportunity to pay a moving tribute to his bride-to-be, coining the trip her “lost vacation as Mr. and Miss,” referring to their upcoming nuptials, scheduled for this summer.

He singled out the wedding as one of the thrills 2023 has to offer the singer, along with his tour, the return of Voice and the second season of Starstruck, the ITV singing show he hosts.

He also cheekily added that the holidays marked “the last night eating what the F&@k [he] want[s]..’.

He added: “The diet starts on Monday.”
