Olivier Giroud proved why he is France’s all-time top scorer after beating a five-shot challenge during a recent national team training session.
The AC Milan striker has been a regular in the Les Bleus squad since his debut in 2011 and has registered 56 goals for his efforts.
Even at the age of 37, the former Chelsea and Arsenal striker has shown he still has a keen eye for goal and reminded fans of that in a recent viral clip.
Giroud excelled during the French national team’s training for their final Euro 2024 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Greece.
During the shooting drill, players from both sides of the penalty area crossed balls for the Milan forward, who finished five times with confidence.

Giroud fired shots with both left and right feet with ease before walking back to allow his teammates to have a try.
His training clearly paid off as he scored two late goals in France’s 14–0 defeat to Gibraltar, despite coming on as a late substitute.
Fans on social media were impressed by the effort, with some quick to draw comparisons with similar efforts from other players, such as Arsenal’s Kai Havertz.
Arsenal’s pre-season tour this season saw the Germany international struggle in an MLS match All-Star Skills Challenge.
Havertz became the first person in the event’s short history to never score a single point in the cross-then-volley challenge.
As a result of both his poor form and the struggles Folarin Balogun had, Arsenal lost in that particular event.
While some Arsenal fans were angry about the poor form of their new talisman, other football fans laughed at their misfortune.
This included Chelsea fans, who were delighted after their club sold him for £65 million this summer.
“Kai Havertz sets the world on fire with his finishing,” one Chelsea fan wrote, followed by several laughing emojis.
Another couldn’t believe the money he got for the German, adding: “We got £65m for Havertz,” followed by several laughing emojis.
