Olivia Wilde looks somber while out and about in West Hollywood amid child support battle with Jason Sudeikis
Olivia Wilde looked somber as she stepped out to meet some of her friends in West Hollywood on Thursday.
The 38-year-old Don’t Worry director’s outing comes a day after it was reported that she is “locked in a dogfight” with ex Jason Sudeikis, 47, over child support issues.
The duo, who split in 2020, are parents to son Otis, eight, and daughter Daisy, six.
Olivia rocked an oversized striped button-down top that she paired with black pants that flared at the bottom.
The House star shaded her eyes with a pair of black sunglasses and rocked a sleek black YSL crossbody bag for the outing.
Out and about: Olivia Wilde looked somber as she stepped out to meet some of her friends in West Hollywood on Thursday, following news of her child support battle with ex Jason Sudeikis.
She paired the outfit with black loafers and wore her brown hair down for the day.
It was reported on Wednesday that she and Jason continue to discuss how their child support will be handled, despite vowing to co-parent in a healthy way.
According TMZOlivia and Jason are still locked in a dogfight.
Furthermore, there is said to be no chance of a reconciliation between the two, despite the fact that they were photographed embracing in Los Angeles on Friday.
Sources told the site: ‘Jason’s New York attorney, Bill Beslow, went to a New York judge to resolve all child support issues. But last July, both a New York judge and a California judge ruled that all CUSTODY matters must be handled in Los Angeles.
“Beslow went to a New York court on January 4 and asked the judge to handle all the child SUPPORT issues, and the judge set a hearing date for February 15.”
Olivia is said to be baffled by this because both a New York judge and a California judge have already said that this is a Los Angeles case and not a New York one.
And he would like both custody and child support to be decided in Los Angeles.

The site continues: “Beslow is appealing the decision to decide custody in Los Angeles. Olivia’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, and Olivia’s lawyer in New York have filed legal documents asking the judge on February 15 to throw out Beslow’s decision. Beslow to handle child support in New York, so a judge in Los Angeles can decide all matters involving the children.’
Also, it’s been reported that Ted Lasso star Jason doesn’t want child support for Olivia.
He is said to be willing to pay her “a reasonable amount” in child support, either decided by both of them or by a New York judge.
The news comes after it was reported that Olivia and her ex Jason are “getting along better now” since her split from Harry Styles and are “healthily co-parenting.”
Olivia and Jason have been ‘cordial’ since she split from Harry, 28, in November, reports Eastern Timedays after the actors were seen hugging after a meeting in Los Angeles.
A source said: “Olivia has been focusing all her energy on her children and her family ever since she split from Harry, and now that they’ve split, it’s been easier for Jason and Olivia to get along.”
‘Jason has been trying to support Olivia and be a good co-parent during this transition. Things between Jason and Olivia are cordial and going well.
“Things between Olivia and Jason are manageable and she is doing everything she can to co-parent with him in a healthy way. She’s in no rush to date anyone again right now.
‘Still locked in a dogfight’: Wilde and Sudeikis were reported on Wednesday ‘still fighting over their child support agreement’ despite their recent friendly hug

The source added that Olivia is “still pretty hurt” by her split from Harry, but the singer “isn’t too broken” by their split.
The couple have been in an ugly custody battle over their children, coinciding with Wilde’s relationship with Harry Styles, whom he directed in last year’s film Don’t Worry Darling.
Styles, whose role in Don’t Worry Darling was at the center of dramatic rumors in the run-up to the film’s release, split from Wilde in November after a romance that lasted nearly two years.
Wilde and Sudeikis were seen the following month having what appeared to be a tense conversation after leaving a two-hour meeting in Hollywood.
However, they seemed more comfortable with each other during their sighting this week, chatting amongst themselves and giving each other a loving hug.
The drama between them during their legal battle has leaked into the public eye multiple times, including when they famously served him custody papers while onstage at CinemaCon last April.

Wilde called the incident “an attack on her workplace” but said she was not surprised it happened because there was a “reason” she left her relationship with Sudeikis.
In court documents obtained by DailyMail.com, he argued that the decision to serve her on stage in front of an audience was an attempt to “threaten” and “shame” her.
Sudeikis has maintained that he was unaware that Wilde would be handed the papers in such a public and humiliating manner.
Sudeikis filed a lawsuit against her ex in New York City Family Court in October 2021, and the dispute has largely revolved around where the children would live.
While he wanted them to live in Brooklyn, Wilde hoped they would stay in Los Angeles and possibly move to London, where her then-boyfriend Harry Styles lived.
