Olivia Munn shows off her mastectomy scars posing topless in powerful SKIMS ad amid breast cancer journey
Olivia Munn showed off her mastectomy scars as she took part in a powerful new ad campaign for Kim Kardashian’s brand SKIMS.
Munn, who underwent a double mastectomy last year after being diagnosed with breast cancer, wore no top as she posed with a visible scar on her left breast.
The 44-year-old star opened up about her health struggles in a video made for the campaign, telling the camera: ‘Someone said this line to me, and it meant a lot and it really touched me. When it comes to breast cancer: welcome to the worst club with the best members.’
“My name is Olivia Munn and I am a breast cancer survivor,” she says. ‘When I look at the scars or how my breasts look different or how clothes fit me differently, I just feel a lot of gratitude.
“The way my body looks is just a representation of how hard I fought.”

“When Skims approached me for this campaign, it was just to do their shapewear and their new leggings, and it wasn’t about my scar at all,” she said.
But while filming the campaign, Olivia struggled to hide the scars once she put on an outfit that made them more visible.

“Then I looked in the mirror and thought, ‘I’m done being insecure about my scars,'” she recalled. “So I went to the Skims team and said, ‘What do you think about showing my scars in this campaign?’
“And they were so wonderful and thoughtful and wonderful. And we talked it out and then we decided to do it.”
