John’s ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler will release a memoir in August titled Men Have Called Her Crazy.
The book promised to provide details about her love life.
But it is reported that his name is not mentioned in the book at all, because the book is about the past two years, and she divorced John more than three years ago; he had a child with Munn.
“It’s a story about mental health; about being a woman; about family,” Tendler wrote via social media. “And finally, about the endless source of my heartbreak and anger: men.”
The Connecticut native says the book is a collection of experiences about how men have treated her.
Despite fan speculation, TMZ reported Friday that “sources with direct knowledge — who have already read Anna’s memoirs — said John is never mentioned in her upcoming offering … directly or indirectly.”

Noting that the book is “now available for pre-order,” Tendler asked her more than 329,000 followers to share a link “with anyone you think this book will resonate with.”
Mulaney and Tendler were married on July 5, 2014, at the Onteora Mountain House in the Catskill Mountains in Boiceville, New York, with notable names including Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler. US reported at the time.
Mulaney filed for divorce in July 2021 to end the marriage to Tendler, who disclosed People She said through her rep that she was “heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage.”
In the months leading up to the divorce, Mulaney had checked into rehab for a period of 60 days in December 2020.
Days after the divorce was announced, reports emerged that Mulaney was romantically involved with actress Olivia Munn, 43, and the pair made a public appearance four months later.
In November 2021, Mulaney and Munn welcomed son Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney.
“He has his whole life ahead of him,” Mulaney said alongside a photo of his son that he shared on Instagram on Christmas Eve 2021. “He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet. I’m very in love with him and his whole deal.”

The Connecticut-born visual artist-writer said the memoir is the product of her life experiences
Tendler opened up about the emotional impact left in the aftermath of her divorce in a Harper’s Bazaar job interview in January 2022.
“Everything that has happened is completely shocking and I think it’s surreal,” Tendler said. “In a way, I feel like it can only go up from here because I’ve reached the depths I could go.”
Tendler said in a piece for June 2023 Elle that she was “hospitalized in the first two weeks of 2021 for depression, self-harm and severe suicidal ideation,” months before her divorce from Mulaney.
She said her late dog Petunia helped her through the turbulent times.
“The doctors asked me to make a list of my reasons for living,” Tendler said. “Petunia was the only one on that list.”
