Olivia Dunne sends one-word message to the Mahomes family after birth of third child Golden Raye

Olivia Dunne joined the crowd celebrating the birth of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ third child, Golden Raye.

The couple – who already have a daughter, three-year-old Sterling, and a son, two-year-old Bronze – had announced last July that they were expecting another child together.

And six months later, Brittany confirmed on Monday that she welcomed a second baby girl, Golden Raye Mahomes, into the world on Sunday, January 12.

After posting a photo of their new baby feeding in front of a wooden nameplate, Dunne left a short and sweet comment.

“Congratulations,” the LSU gymnast wrote with a gold heart emoji.

WNBA star Caitlin Clark also said, “Congratulations,” followed by a red heart.

Luckily for Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, the team had secured a bye in the first round of the playoffs, and he was able to be on hand to welcome the family’s newest addition.

But the football-obsessed Mahomes made sure he still got his NFL fix by watching the playoffs in the hospital.

He said Tuesday ahead of their divisional round showdown with the Houston Texans, “It was cool. I mean, I’m just supporting. Brittany crushed it.

“It’s been cool to welcome another girl into our family and see how our other kids react to her and having a baby sister and things like that.

“It was a lot of fun and it was cool that football was on TV when I was in hospital so I got to watch a bit. Brittany was kind enough to let us watch football while she got ready to give birth to our second daughter.”

Dunne returned to LSU after announcing she would pursue her fifth year of NCAA eligibility with the Tigers in July.

Her final campaign follows their NCAA title-winning efforts at the end of her senior year. The 2023-2024 team brought the university’s first national title in gymnastics to Baton Rouge after a dominant regular season.

On July 8, Dunne announced her return with a video announcement on her social media pages.

So far this season, the Tigers are 3-1 with wins over Iowa State, California and Utah. Their lone loss came against Oklahoma in the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad on January 11.
