Olivia Dunne reveals the ‘elite gift’ Paul Skenes got for her birthday
Olivia Dunne was thrilled with the unique birthday present she received from boyfriend Paul Skenes on Tuesday after turning 22.
The LSU gymnast received a thoughtful gift from the Pittsburgh Pirates rookie, who decided to skip the traditional birthday gifts for Dunne’s special day.
The MLB ace joined Topps to create a custom Pirates trading card with Dunne and her dog Roux front and center. The card also included Roux’s stats in the back, including date of birth, race, weight, favorite activity and favorite food.
Dunne was thrilled with the gift, posting photos of the card to her Snapchat story and writing, “ELITE GIFT LOL.”
The English Retriever, born on June 29, 2023, loves eating steaks and chewing sticks, according to the menu. Dunne was also listed as ‘Liv’ among Roux’s favorite human.

In addition to the card, Skenes also posted a birthday shoutout to his girlfriend on Instagram, writing, “Happy birthday Liv!” with a series of photos featuring the TikTok star.
After helping Skenes with the gift, Topps praised the pitcher for his efforts, writing on Instagram, “Paul Skenes has GAME both on and off the field.”
After a stellar start to his MLB career, Skenes is part of a tight race for the National League Rookie of the Year award.
On the other hand, Dunne is back at LSU for her fifth and final year with the Tigers gymnastics team.
Her final campaign follows their NCAA title-winning efforts at the end of her senior year. The 2023-2024 team brought the university’s first national title in gymnastics to Baton Rouge after a dominant regular season.

Dunne recently starred in the six-part Amazon Prime docuseries βThe Money Game β LSU,β which featured some of the college’s top athletes last season.
Away from gymnastics and campus, Dunne continues to find success as an influencer and brand ambassador β most recently headlining Nautica’s fall 2024 campaign with Mizzou football star Luther Burden III before returning to their respective schools.
