Olivia Dunne posts cheeky image from her incredible LSU gymnastics senior debut against Ohio State: ‘Just kicking back relaxing’

Olivia Dunne made an incredible start to her senior year as an LSU gymnast this month after scoring a 9.875 on floor exercise for the Tigers.

But just weeks after her stunning debut, the social media sensation joked that she was just “relaxing” that night.

Dunne, who has more than 12 million followers on her Instagram and TikTok accounts, had a strong performance on her big night for LSU, falling just 0.25 from her career high in the discipline (9,900).

The 21-year-old was left out of last weekend’s meeting with Kentucky after playing no role in a victory marred by controversy amid claims her team benefited from underscoring their opponents.

However, amid the debate surrounding that encounter, Dunne has taken to social media to reminisce about her sensational senior year debut in early January.

In a photo of her lying on the floor and lifting one of her legs straight past her head at a 180-degree angle, the 21-year-old wrote: “Just sit back and relax.”

No. No. 3 LSU defeated No. 14 Ohio State 196.995-196.795 on the night in question after trailing for most of the game.

Dunne was the second of six to compete for LSU during the team’s final rotation of the evening. Her score of 9.875 was one of five that counted toward LSU’s event total.

Meanwhile, Dunne’s sister Julz filmed herself knocking back beers in the stands as her younger sibling stepped out for a flyer against Ohio State.

Julz, the so-called “brains” behind her sister’s huge social media following, shared videos of herself on TikTok trying to drink as much beer as possible before the meeting ended.

And as she stepped out to a flyer at the PMAC in Baton Rouge, Dunne's 22-year-old sister Julz was enjoying a beer marathon in the stands.

“Okay, since my psychotic mother (Katherine Dunne) likes to get to the meeting an hour and a half early, I’m going to vlog how many beers I can drink before the meeting is over,” she said in one of the videos.

“So I drank beer number two before the girls finished warming up.

“Before I could get a third one, the girls ran out of the tunnels and did the introductions yadda, yadda, yadda. I really didn’t care because all I wanted to do was go to the concessions.”
