Olivia Dunne performs the ‘Donald Trump dance’ with LSU teammate Kylie Coen
Olivia Dunne became the latest athlete to perform the ‘Donald Trump dance’ before returning to gymnastics.
The LSU star began her senior season Friday night, with boyfriend Paul Skenes in the crowd as the Tigers defeated Iowa State.
Dunne shone on floor and beam and before the meet, the 22-year-old showed off her dance moves.
The gymnast posted a short clip on TikTok in which she and teammate Kylie Coen imitated the president-elect.
“A little pre-meet hype,” Dunne wrote after joining the likes of Brock Bowers and Christian Pulisic in doing the “Trump dance.”
Following Trump’s victory in the presidential election, stars from all sports celebrated on the court by shuffling like the 78-year-old.

Trump popularized these moves during the recent election campaign, before defeating Kamala Harris and sealing a return to the White House.
Bowers, Calvin Ridley and Nick Bosa were among the first athletes to imitate Trump, and on Friday, Dunne and Coen joined in on the craze.
She posted the video prior to LSU’s season opener against Iowa State, which kicked off her fifth and final year with the Tigers.
Dunne’s friend, MLB star Skenes, was among the crowd. The meeting took place just days after they celebrated the New Year in New Orleans – on the same night as the deadly terror attack.
