Olivia Dunne organizes hilariously low-key party for boyfriend Paul Skenes after Pirates pitcher is selected for 2024 MLB All-Star Game
Olivia Dunne celebrated a major achievement by her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, in a more relaxed manner.
Skenes was named a National League All-Star at this year’s MLB All-Star Game, a remarkable achievement in his debut season.
In the locker room, Pirates manager Derek Shelton gave a speech about Skenes and teammate Bryan Reynolds’s appearance at the All-Star Game, presenting them both with a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne.
But back at Casa de Dunne, the former LSU gymnast had a much more modest affair planned for her boyfriend.
She had collected a bunch of balloons to spell out “All Star” and included a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne and a pizza from the popular local sandwich shop Primanti Bros.

Paul Skenes has been dominant on the mound for the Pittsburgh Pirates this season
This season, Skenes has been dominant on the mound, posting a 2.12 ERA, a 1.01 WHIP and striking out 78 batters.
He also recently broke a record in just ten starts of his Major League Baseball career.
Skenes has recorded seven or more strikeouts in nine of his first 10 starts — something no other pitcher has ever accomplished.
The pitcher struck out eight and gave up just two earned runs on four hits in seven innings to earn the fifth win of his career, as Pittsburgh defeated the New York Mets 14-2.
For Skenes, everything has been going smoothly. He is living a good life with his girlfriend Olivia Dunne.
Skenes posted six photos in the post, four of which feature the LSU national gymnastics champion, in an Instagram photo dump in June.

Two of the photos featuring Dunne appear to have been taken at a concert, while another pair were taken during a recent boat trip the couple took on one of Pittsburgh’s three rivers.
The photos that don’t feature Dunne are of Skenes’ dogs and a selfie with fellow Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jared Jones.
Also on the boat were Jones’ girlfriend, Rylie Fox, and Pirates pitcher Kyle Nicolas.
Skenes and Dunne have been dating for about a year, since the couple met as student-athletes at LSU.
