Ex-LSU pitcher Paul Skenes (left) has relationship with Dunne, the No. 1 overall MLB draft pick confirmed
Skenes, the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s MLB draft, was also an LSU athlete and recently confirmed the pair’s romance.
Speaking to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, he talked about their relationship, saying, “It sure is fun. It can be tricky sometimes, to be honest, when it comes to actually going somewhere.
“If one of us were to go to Baton Rouge alone, there would probably be someone asking for something: a photo, an autograph, whatever.
“It’s nice to be able to have that conversation. She gets it. I wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it. It irritates me.
‘I have no control over it. She really isn’t. I’m sure it will get better as I move up the ranks, but that’s something I want for her.’
Dunne was spotted last week watching Skenes make his debut for the Single-A Bradenton Marauders at LECOM Park.
