Olivia recently won GQ’s Woman of the Year award for her role in Baz Lurhmann’s Elvis.
She remembered how surprised she was when her agent informed her that she had landed the big part of Priscilla Presley opposite Austin Butler.

The star explained how she had submitted an audition tape in early 2019 and then heard nothing for three months.
Olivia and her agent were out for dinner when she got a text saying she got the job.
“We were so shocked and so excited,” he told The Advertiser.
“The feeling I got when I got it was a big surprise and I thought here we go, now we really need to get to work.”
Olivia had the chance to meet Priscilla and even sat down with her during the Cannes Film Festival where the movie premiered.
During the interview, Olivia explained that she didn’t mind seeing herself during this specific project.
The stunner pouted and strutted in the dress as she posed on the red carpet.
“My character isn’t the centerpiece of the movie, so there was a feeling of… you might break away and it had been a long time,” he said.
‘Usually, I will definitely choose not to.’
Olivia also explained that her transformation into Priscilla was so great that it didn’t seem like she was looking at herself.
