Olivia Culpo’s sisters have responded to the backlash the influencer received for her wedding dress choice as she walked down the aisle on June 29.
For the ceremony, the 32-year-old bride chose a very modest Dolce & Gabbana dress with long sleeves, high neck and A-line skirt.
The former Miss Rhode Island USA said this Fashion she “didn’t want sex to radiate in any way.”
‘I wanted it to feel effortless and like it complimented me and not overwhelmed me. There is so much beauty and simplicity,” she told the outlet.
Some of the comments were so cruel that Olivia, 32, and husband Christian McCaffrey, 28, responded to them on social media.

“What a bad thing to post online,” the San Francisco 49ers running back wrote.
“I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, like my beautiful wife does.”
In an interview with People Ahead of their collaboration with Thorne, Aurora, 35, and Sophia Culpo, 27, addressed the vitriol posted by their sister’s haters.
“Social media can be so toxic, and I think people will say anything for their opinion,” Sophia claimed.
“They will use any language to start a controversy just for their own personal gain,” she said, adding, “To do that on someone’s wedding day, I think that’s really tasteless.”
Aurora agreed. “I think it’s quite absurd for anyone to comment on someone’s personal choice of wedding dress.”
“I wish I could say I was surprised,” she continued. “But people like to ruin a beautiful moment.”
For her reception, Olivia chose several other looks, including a strapless chiffon dress with an empire waist.

That gown received high praise from fans and foes alike.

Later that evening she changed again for the afterparty. That time she opted for a 1950s-style strapless bodysuit under a sheer short hoop skirt, which also had some negative aspects.
