Olivia Attwood is set for a sensational return to I Am Celebrity after she was forced out of the jungle last year due to health concerns.

ITV followed the doctors advice and decided that he should leave the jungle after just one day. But the network has now registered it again.

Sources close to the broadcaster say they were “absolutely disappointed” when blood tests showed she had dangerously low potassium levels, as they hoped to make her one of their most prominent faces.

So, the bosses have orchestrated a plan to get the former Love Island star back for the new series later this year.

A source told The Mail on Sunday: “Olivia’s time in the jungle last year was to give her a platform so ITV could put on a great show.”

‘Then it all came to an end after his blood tests came back.

‘Now they are recovering it for this year and they will start the whole plan again. ITV bosses know she’s going to be hugely popular on I’m A Celeb…and the viewers will love her.’

During last year’s series, Ms Attwood, 31, was brought to A&E after a routine blood test showed she was anemic.

In an exclusive interview with The Mail on Sunday, he said: “It felt like the longest journey of my life.”

“I was thinking my blood was normal about a month ago so I don’t know what to think.

“I was wondering if I had contracted a virus, if I was pregnant, all these things were going through my head. It was terrifying.

Due to insurance issues, his return to last year’s series was deemed too risky by ITV producers.

The star said: ‘If I were to go back to camp, my levels could drop and it could be detrimental to my health and well-being… I was absolutely devastated.

‘I’m not a crybaby but I started crying. It was emotional. I was devastated.’

After appearing on Love Island in 2017, Ms Attwood last year hosted the ITV documentary Getting Filthy Rich about the sale of sexual content on the OnlyFans website.

So, the bosses have orchestrated a plan to get the former Love Island star back for the new series later this year. A source told The Mail on Sunday: “Olivia’s time in the jungle last year was to give her a platform so that ITV could put on a great show.”
