Olivia Attwood gets help from a famous pal for her explosive new ITV reality show as they trick a group of badly behaved boyfriends

Olivia Attwood is joined by boyfriend Pete Wicks for an explosive new ITV reality show, Bad Boyfriends.

The 33-year-old TV personality has enlisted the 36-year-old TOWIE star to trick a group of misbehaved boyfriends, cheaters and DM sliders into repairing their relationships.

In the 11-episode series, which will air in the fall, eight unsuspecting men are flown to a Greek island to film a series about masculinity and bromance while on vacation.

Pete appears to be the host of the fake series ‘Brotopia’ and sets the boys up for all sorts of challenges, before Olivia arrives to put an end to their wild partying and reveal the true nature of the series.

Pete told MailOnline: ‘Flying to Greece to play the role of a fake presenter on a show called Brotopia was something I never expected to do – it was such an amazing experience, and it got even better when my friend Olivia arrived and crashed the party!’

He added: ‘The cast are brilliant and I’m looking forward to rewatching the series and seeing if the couples can work on strengthening their relationships with Olivia’s help.’

Since starring in Love Island in 2017, Olivia has become one of the most successful contestants, presenting four documentaries for ITV.

Olivia previously said in a press release: ‘I am so excited and honoured to announce that I will be hosting my own dating show.

‘This series has been two years in the making and keeping it a secret has been so hard! Filming with the couples in Greece has exceeded all my expectations – they are simply incredible and viewers are in for an absolute treat.’

Ahead of the new series Olivia, which is expected to be the next Holly Willoughbysaid her mother can’t even go to the local shop in Cheshire.

She told MailOnline on Three UK’s Mind, Body & Scroll: ‘My mum used to say, “I can’t even go to the village shop now without being recognised,” and I’d say, “You love it, don’t lie.”

It’s a big adjustment [fame] not just for me, but we are all learning to deal with it and how it affects us all differently.’

Her own dating show, Bad Boyfriends, will undoubtedly make her even more famous.

Kai has largely stayed out of the spotlight, only having a passion for classic and luxury cars. Her mother Jenny has been featured in a number of her documentaries and on her podcast: So Wrong, It’s Right.

While Olivia’s parents live a quiet life in their Cheshire country house, her sister Georgia keeps a relatively low profile as a part-time model and executive research consultant.

The Love Island star rarely posts pictures of her sister on social media because of ‘her work’, but was given permission to do so during Georgia’s hen party in Saint Tropez last year.

Olivia said: ‘Being in the spotlight from the back of Love Island is a big adjustment, not just for you but for everyone around you because it happens instantly.

“Not just for me, but also for my parents and siblings. I try to be respectful of that and I’m very grateful for their support.”

Olivia Attwood’s Bad Boyfriends starts Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
