Love Island fans were left in awe after the launch show on Monday, when Olivia Hawkins and Will Young shared an emotional hug after being together.
The couple, who got together after Olivia was dumped by popular hunk Kai Fagan, failed to convince fans that they were a legit couple, with many insisting they had no chemistry.
And it seemed many fans weren’t far off in their estimates, as ring girl Olivia admitted that Will was already ‘friendzoning’, as he has his head turned by 21-year-old Haris Namani.
Despite it being the first episode of Love Island 2023, viewers were quick to state that there is no chemistry between 23-year-old farmer Will Young and 27-year-old Olivia Hawkins.
When they became the fifth and final couple to become a couple, Will leaned in to kiss Olivia on the cheek, but when he went to hug her, she seemed to pull away.
The awkward moment was immediately recorded by fans on Twitter, with one writing: “Olivia doesn’t like that guy she just can’t stand Will and trying to swing lol.”
Another added: “This is embarrassing,” while a third wrote: “What world would Olivia and Will fit into?”
Olivia chatted with some of her countrymen around the campfire and admitted that the farmer “isn’t my type.”

She said: ‘He’s so charming, but he’s not my type. We would be very good friends. I don’t want to friendzone him anymore, but in my head I have him.’
Speaking to the camera, she added: “With Will I’m already thinking about friendship, but I’m going to go in with an open mind and meet everyone else.”
The reality star’s head looks like she might have already turned to boxer Haris after the pair had a cheeky chat by the campfire.

Talking to makeup artist Lana Jenkins, 25, the brunette beauty admitted that Haris “is really cute” and that they are a “match made in heaven” due to their similar jobs.
Before entering the villa, Olivia said that the celebrity in love was the muscular boxer Anthony Joshua.
