Oklahoma attorney arrested after trying to pay for sex with 5-year-old girl likes younger children

An Oklahoma City lawyer has been arrested at his home after allegedly attempting sexual activity with a fictional five-year-old girl in the small town of Mustang.

Michael Lunaday, 55, was caught after setting up a sting operation that led to him being apprehended at his home on Thursday.

It came after the The Canadian Province Sheriff’s Office were told by a confidential informant that he had communicated with the youngster and hoped to meet her for sex.

Investigators then staged the sting by communicating with Lunaday using text messages and phone calls to “finalize the deal and purchase the child for sex,” which ultimately led to his arrest.

Lunaday allegedly brought condoms and lube for the sexual encounter and expressed an interest in viewing child pornography before the meeting.

“Detectives used hidden cameras in the residence and deputies were staged inside the house to make Lunaday’s arrest,” police explained in a press release.

During the conversation, Lunaday told the CI that he liked younger girls because sexual abuse doesn’t affect them that much. Lunaday also wanted to watch child pornography before the child arrived, to warm himself up and calm his nerves.’

He also revealed that he had taken Viagra to prepare for the encounter and revealed that he had always fantasized about performing oral sex on a child while a grown woman watched.

Authorities were able to make an arrest after Monday gave the informant $400 for the sexual act, which he believed would be split between the informant and a fictitious foster parent who would deliver the child.

Investigators say Monday practiced family law and say they cannot rule out more victims.

They later executed a search warrant and seized a number of electronic devices, including an iPad, laptops and his personal cell phone.

“We have executed warrants on his personal devices, including his home, and we have recovered a number of electronic devices, which we are currently investigating.” said Major Adam Flowers of the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office KOCO5.

“We are not only looking for child pornography, but also other victims he may have had or other transactions he tried to set up.”

Authorities also found a receipt showing how Monday allegedly stopped by a target to purchase condoms and lube for use during sex with the fictional youth.

He is currently being held in the Canadian County Detention Facility on charges of indecent acts with a child under the age of 12 and inciting child prostitution on $200,000 bail.

The confidential informant’s ability to maintain his composure while gathering information was also praised by police as a major factor in the success of the sting operation that took place over a four-hour period.

“When we sting predators, all the time, the conversations we have with the decoys and the suspects, they’re pretty blatant and disgusting. What makes this one even more horrifying is the fact that it was a five-year-old,” Major Flowers said.
