OJ Simpson’s prison porn stash to hit auction after his death, longtime lawyer reveals

OJ Simpson’s legal team is resorting to desperate measures to pay off the late NFL star’s staggering debts.

Simpson died in April at the age of 76 and owed the families of murder victims Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown more than $100 million.

And in an effort to chip away at this figure, his longtime lawyer and executor Malcolm LaVergne revealed he’s putting a rather unique collection of memorabilia under the hammer.

The former running back’s stash of pornography from his time behind bars at the Nevada State Prison will reportedly be up for sale at auction, LaVergne said. TMZ.

Simpson reportedly amassed a collection of Penthouse – a men’s magazine featuring pornographic photographs of women – while serving his sentence for his 2008 armed robbery.

After his parole in 2017, Simpson allegedly put away his editions because, according to LaVergne, he had access to free online porn at the time.

LaVergne also revealed that he was able to put Simpson’s condoms up for auction.

Simpson’s former attorney said he hopes to hold the auction in early 2025 but has not yet confirmed any details.

Simpson was found liable in civil court for $33.5 million for the 1997 murders of Ron Goldman and ex-wife Nicole Simpson, with the Goldman family chasing mounting debts ever since. The amount has now increased to $100 million with interest.

An attorney for Ron’s father Fred said earlier this year that he will “get to work” collecting everything he can from Simpson’s estate, even after the Juice’s death.

The last legal filings made by Goldman’s lawyers were in June 2022, when they claimed Simpson still owed more than $96 million and had paid just $133,000 since 1997.

Since their 1997 verdict for the 1994 murders, the Goldmans have seized Simpson’s income and sued him several times to recoup the money he earned for TV shows and his book If I Did It.

In an interview with DailyMail.com earlier this year, debt collection attorney David Cook described how he renewed the judgment in 2015, bringing it to $57 million.

Two years later, when Simpson was released from a Nevada prison after serving nine years for a robbery and kidnapping conviction, he estimated the debt at “just under $70 million.”

And in March 2021, a Nevada garnishment case listed the amount owed by Simpson as $75,164,425.74.

According to 1992 court documents about his divorce from his murdered wife Nicole, his net worth at the time was $10.8 million, with a monthly income of $55,000.

But according to the Goldmans’ filings, he has only paid them $133,000 since they obtained their judgment against him.

Simpson avoided paying the Goldmans by declaring bankruptcy in Florida, and his annual NFL pension of between $125,000 and $300,000 was protected from collection claims.

He also had $42,000 a year in Social Security.
