While minicamp fights are as common as leaves fall in the fall, the Cleveland Browns found a new way to entertain NFL fans on Sunday.
During a routine scrimmage, Brown’s defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo was pushed down by O-lineman James Hudson III; a hardly abnormal moment.
However, Okoronkwo objected to it; he jumps to his feet before facing off against the taller Hudson.
This is where the hilarity begins. Okoronkwo decided his best course of action was to punch Hudson, who was wearing his helmet, in the face before running away.
Visibly agitated by the open hand, Hudson chased Okoronkwo before punching him – also in the helmet. A move that never seems to make sense.

This caused teammates from both sides – wearing brown and white jerseys respectively – to try to break up the pair as coaches whistled to do the same.
Hudson’s helmet came off in the process, but he was eventually pulled away by teammates.
Unsurprisingly, quarterback Deshaun Watson chose not to get involved. Neither he nor backup Dorian Thompson-Robinson were close to the skirmish at the time.
Given the value of signal callers in the NFL today, it was hardly a shock to see them allow others to carry out the peacekeeping mission.
It follows two fights in the past week as franchises go through the early days of minicamp.
Travis Kelce threw a punch at teammate Jack Cochrane on Saturday as the Jets had several fights in practice last weekend.
