It’s safe to say the steady stream of Google Pixel 9 leaks is shaping up to be a tidal wave at this point. The latest unauthorized reveals showcase official cases for the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL, while also revealing a surprise additional color.
These renders come from a known leaker @OnLeaks And Android Headlinesand show how the rather large camera bumps on the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are protected by the curved contours of these silicone cases.
If these colors are accurate, we’re looking at Charcoal, Porcelain, Hazel, and Rose for the color options, as well as Aloe – that matches one of the options for the Google Pixel 8a, though we weren’t expecting it for the Pixel 9 Pro until now.
There may be a few more surprises in store for the official unveiling of these phones, scheduled for Tuesday, August 13. We will of course bring you all the news and announcements as they happen.
XL size
As for the Pixel 9 Pro XL cases, there’s only Charcoal, Porcelain, Hazel, and Rose – so no Aloe. That suggests there may be an exclusive color coming to the Pixel 9 Pro, with the standard Pixel 9 color options different again.
These cases appear to be quite similar to the official cases we’ve seen from Google for previous Pixel phones. They have a smooth, rubberized exterior and a soft-touch fabric finish on the inside, ensuring your device is well-protected.
At this rate, Google won’t have anything new to announce when the planned launch event takes place. In addition to official teasers, we’ve also heard a lot about the improved specs we can expect and the potential designs of these phones.
In addition to the four phones in the Pixel 9 series – so the two mentioned above, plus the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold – it’s likely we’ll also see the arrival of the Pixel Watch 3 and Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 at the same event.
