Odell Beckham Jr teases Giants reunion, asking Saquon Barkley to tell GM Joe Schoen: ‘call my agent’

Odell Beckham Jr mocks Giants meeting by asking Saquon Barkley to tell New York GM Joe Schoen to “call my agent” after posting video highlighted as free agency self-advertisement

Odell Beckham Jr’s return to the NFL could bring him back to the team where he began his career.

‘OBJ’ released a highlight reel video to promote his recovery from a Super Bowl LVI injury in 2022 that saw him miss the entirety of last season.

In the video posted to Twitter, Beckham is seen practicing at the Arizona State facility, showing off his catching skills.

That video caught the attention of Beckham’s former New York Giants teammate Saquon Barkley, who tweeted the video with the caption “Still MF.”

Beckham responded by saying, “Tell Joe to call my agent…I’ve got a few things left to do.”

Barkley indicated that he liked what he saw from OBJ, who recently played with the Rams.

That ‘Joe’ in question is New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen, who was reportedly interested in OBJ’s services last season as Beckham’s recovery continued.

Barkley was franchise tagged by the Giants on March 7, keeping him in the New York area for the next year.

Beckham has been very active on Twitter throughout his free agency, breaking the rule of secrecy some players have about training and negotiations.

OBJ joined former Giants teammate Prince Amukamara in Arizona, retweeted Amukamara’s video of the workout and thanked USFL quarterback Ryan Willis for participating.

OBJ is likely to draw interest from the two NFL teams that play at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Beckham is reportedly on Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ wish list for the quarterback to join the New York Jets.

Rodgers said publicly that he wants to play for the Jets on a Wednesday episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” detailing that the Packers want to put him behind them.

Other players on that list include Randall Cobb, Marcedes Lewis and recently signed Allen Lazard.
