Odell Beckham Jr. finally has his team! Free agent wide receiver ‘agrees to $18 million, one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens’ — amid reports he was ready for talks with the New York Jets
Free Agent Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly agreed to a deal with the Baltimore Ravens after ties to the New York Jets.
The wide receiver was out last season after a torn ACL in the 2022 Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl victory.
But now he finally has his new home with Beckham Jr. signing a one-year deal worth up to $18 million, according to NFL Network.
The contract comes just a day after reports he was ready for talks with the New York Jets.
The Jets were ready for a visit from Beckham Jr on Sunday night, but Baltimore coughed up the cash, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport added.

Robert Saleh’s New York Jets seemed to be prime candidates for Beckham Jr.
Beckham Jr. had a chance to become the franchise’s No. 1 wide receiver as the Jets appeared to be prime candidates to tie him, SNY reporter Connor Hughes reported.
The reporter claims the planned visit to the Jets spurred Baltimore into action, with the team upping their package.
Beckham Jr. recently made a surprise appearance at the NFL owner meetings in Arizona, speaking to officials from multiple teams, including Jets head coach Robert Salah and general manager Joe Douglas.
The 30-year-old receiver was one of several on a player wish list that Aaron Rodgers reportedly gave the Jets for them to set up in free agency before they traded for him.
When he last played for the Rams, Beckham Jr. 27 catches for 305 yards and five touchdowns in just eight games after spending the first half of the season with the Cleveland Browns.
Before suffering his second ACL tear, Beckham appeared to be showing signs of a return to elite form that led to him being named a multi-time All-Pro early in his career with the New York Giants.
During his first stint in New York, he recorded at least 75 receptions, 10 touchdowns and 1,300 yards in each of his three seasons.
After an injury-plagued 2017 season, he recorded two more 1,000-yard seasons before a sour relationship with former Browns’ QB Baker Mayfield sent his Cleveland tenure downhill.
Beckham also held a practice earlier this offseason for teams interested in potentially using his services, which was attended by at least 12 NFL teams.
He flirted with several teams to get back at the end of last season and through the playoffs before opting to focus on rehab and making sure the ACL was as strong as possible.
