Octavia Spencer raves about Will Ferrell after he ‘shutdown heckler’ during Walk Of Fame ceremony

One day after receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Octavia Spencer opens up about her friendship with Will Ferrell.

Legendary comedian, actor and Energetic The co-star was one of the few people standing by Spencer’s side on the monumental day that brought tears of joy to the Academy Award-winning actress.

Spencer’s comments come just one day after Will reportedly “silenced a troublemaker” who disrupted his Walk of Fame ceremony.

As Ferrell began to talk about Spencer’s new star, a man on the street began yelling loudly about how the event was “celebrating rich people.”

The Stranger Than Fiction star wasted no time trying to protect his friend’s special moment.

Spencer was overjoyed when she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles on Thursday, when she was seen wiping tears with a handkerchief before accepting the honor.

The Academy Award winner looked amazing for the occasion, donning a sleek black peplum dress and cheetah sandal heels. with silver bracelet and dangling silver earrings.

The Montgomery, Alabama native artist sported her black tresses parted in the middle and cascading into bouncy curls.

She has the distinction of being the first black actress to receive Oscar nominations in consecutive years.

Davis, 57, looked gorgeous in a black leather jumpsuit, black coat and matching heels, while her husband She rocked a gray blazer, on-trend light wash jeans, and black boots for the occasion.

Aubie the Tiger, the mascot of Spencer’s alma mater, Auburn University, also made an appearance at the ceremony.

The actress’s star is the 2,742 since the Walk of Fame was completed in 1961.

Upon learning that she would receive the honor, Spencer revealed that she was speechless.
