Former Secret Service President Barack Obama’s SUV was parked in a handicapped spot for two hours while he dined with his two daughters at a swanky sushi restaurant in West Los Angeles.

The black SUV remained in a designated disabled parking spot as it waited for the Obamas to finish eating at the expensive Hamasaku restaurant, where eight-piece sushi rolls cost $50 and specialty rolls cost more than $20 each.

The former president was pictured all in white stepping out of the restaurant alone while being escorted by Secret Service agents. His daughters, Malia and Sasha, were not seen when they left with him.

Obama was seen bidding farewell to the restaurant workers and rejecting their offer of a free ice cream dessert before the officers warned them to take a step back when exiting the restaurant.

Obama’s visit to LA comes after his two daughters moved to the West Coast to continue their careers and education.

Malia, 24, moved to LA last year after graduating from Harvard to pursue a career as a screenwriter.

In March, Donald Glover revealed that he had given the 24-year-old her first job as a writer for his new series, which is reportedly about “a Beyoncé-type character,” with the actor calling her “astonishingly talented” and “really focused.” .’

Glover didn’t say how Malia — who previously interned with Lena Dunham’s HBO series Girls in 2015 and The Weinstein Company in 2017 — got the job after graduating from college, but he added that he believed she was a promising future in the industry.

While Malia works as a screenwriter, her younger sister, Sasha, 21, is reportedly studying at the University of Southern California after transferring from the University of Michigan.

The two sisters have been spotted together, along with Sasha’s boyfriend, Clifton Powell Jr., 24, who is the son of Ray actor Clifton Powell.
