Oakland DoorDash driver takes photo of pizza in front of door before stealing it
What a pizza job! Moment where Oakland DoorDash driver takes a picture of a pizza outside the door before STEALING it – after the manager ordered him to deliver the pizza to a business that was looted by burglars and cost $70,000

- The video was made by a company that had been targeted by thieves days earlier
This is when a DoorDash delivery driver in San Francisco recklessly stole a pizza in full view of a surveillance camera.
The driver was seen arriving at the delivery address in a sedan before getting out and taking pizza boxes from the passenger side of the car.
After walking the food to the door of the address and placing it on the step, the man takes a few steps back, takes a picture of the food on the spot, and puts it back in his car before driving off.
The images were shared by KTVU in San Francisco by a business owner who said the food was ordered to cheer up his demoralized staff because the store had been looted by burglars days earlier, costing $70,000.
They wanted to remain anonymous for fear of exposing the company’s current vulnerabilities, but said DoorDash provided new food and those caught stealing would be deactivated.

“I am an ultimate optimist, but this makes me lose faith in humanity,” the owner told the station. “I know there are good people out there. But the bad people are winning now.’
The owner also said he had to spend $70,000 to protect his business from further attacks after thieves broke in on April 23 and stole $500 worth of items.
He said they rammed a stolen vehicle into his shop’s steel garage door and have since installed a new roller grille and concrete barriers.
DoorDash said in a statement to KTVU that it was investigating the incident and is taking the report “extremely seriously.”
“Any Dasher who has stolen food will face consequences, including deactivation,” it added.
