NYT Strands Today (Game #303) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #303, are…
- CODA
- END
- CLOSURE
- FINAL
- EPILOGUE
- CONCLUSION
- SPANGRAM: IT’S OVER
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: 1 tip
When I saw today’s theme, I started looking for things that could be New Year’s resolutions, but quickly realized that “losing some weight”, “being the best version of myself”, “learning Japanese”, etc. is not the biggest puzzle would yield. Instead, smart Strands gave us several alternatives to IT’S OVER.
While that’s not entirely true, an EPILOGUE is an additional piece of information or storyline following you along think in films, books and plays it’s over, and after the epilogue it’s really over – or is it? Epilogues are often there to wrap up all your unanswered questions about the characters, what happened in the years after the CONCLUSION of the story – or at worst, to tease the next installment of the franchise. Either way, we live in a time where leaving a movie before the credits hit the soundtrack list is a gamble.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
