NYT Strands Today (Game #48) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #48, are…
- WALKING AROUND
- STUT
- MARCH
- AMBLE
- TRUDGE
- MARCH
- SALT
- SPANGRAM: PEDESTRIAN
- My score: Simple
- My score: Perfect
The clue here was “Walk this way,” and once I determined that AEROSMITH wasn’t an answer (and neither was RUN-DMC), it was clear that “words related to walking” were needed. I couldn’t find STRIDE, but discovered STROLL, MARCH, and TRUDGE early on, and the others followed easily enough.
The spangram may have been more difficult, but by then I had revealed so much of the board that finding PEDESTRIAN and completing the puzzle wasn’t much of a problem.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
