NYT Strands Today (Game #71) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #71, are…
- DOG
- BOXER
- HUSK
- COLLIE
- POODLE
- BROKE
- SHEPHERD
- SPANGRAM: DOGPILE
- My score: Simple
- My score: Perfect
One of my favorite topics + some really easy placements = one of the easiest Strands puzzles yet.
I’m a real dog person, so it was no problem at all to fend off dogs like HOUND, BOXER, HUSKY and COLLIE – all of which were easily visible. The only vaguely difficult part was the spangram, as I’ve never heard the term ‘DOGPILE’ before. But I was able to solve that too, simply by discovering all the other answers.
My only criticism here: there was no room for LABRADOR, the breed I own and objectively the best dog you can get.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
