The NYPD will revoke former President Donald Trump’s gun permit following his 34-count conviction last week.
On Thursday, a jury convicted the ex-president and presumptive Republican presidential nominee of falsifying business records about payments to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.
ABC News reported on Wednesday evening that Trump would now lose his gun license.
It was suspended after Trump was indicted by the Manhattan district attorney last year.
It is unclear when the NYPD will take the step.

New York state and federal law prohibits convicted felons from possessing any form of firearm.
Trump will be sentenced on July 11 – and must surrender all weapons before then.
The ex-president is in step with the Republican Party as a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights.
He said that in 2012 interview with Emily Miller for The Washington Times that he had a concealed carry permit for a Heckler & Koch HK45 and a .38-caliber Smith & Wesson.
Trump could get the guns back if his appeal is successful.
The ex-president received the support of the National Rifle Association in Texas last month.
At the event, he said rival President Joe Biden would take away members’ guns if the Democrat wins reelection.

In addition to his conviction, Trump has been charged in three additional criminal cases.
None of them are expected to appear in court before Election Day in November.
