NYC doctor Dana Diab is fired after celebrating the Hamas massacre of 260 Israelis ‘getting a taste of their own medicine’ at the Nova music festival near Gaza

A New York City doctor has been fired after celebrating the massacre of Israelis by the Islamist terror group Hamas.

Dr. Dana Diab, an emergency physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center, shared an Instagram video of the attack on the Nova music festival near Gaza that killed at least 260 people on October 7.

Her caption gloated over the barbarity and read: “Zionist colonists get a taste of their own medicine.”

The messages went viral after they were shared by StopAntisemitism, a US non-profit organization, which warned: ‘Jewish patients beware.’

Diab’s employer, Northwell Health, responded to StopAntisemtism on X (formerly Twitter) today and announced that she had been fired.

“We have been alerted to discriminatory comments that appear to have been posted by a team member regarding the crisis in the Middle East. These views do not represent Lenox Hill Hospital & Northwell Health and are contrary to our core values. We are investigating and taking immediate action,” Northwell said.

“We are deeply sorry for the hurt and offense these comments have caused. These views do not represent Lenox Hill Hospital and Northwell Health and are contrary to our core values. The team member is no longer employed by Northwell.”

Diab’s Instagram account has since been made private, but she appears unrepentant, with an “I stand with Palestine” flag on her profile photo.

She insisted on the New York Post that in her position she ‘never called for harm to anyone’.

“I have never, and never will, abdicate my duty and my oath as a physician,” she added.

Diab’s sickening post is just the latest despicable outburst of hatred that has underscored the public response to the unprecedented terror attack on Israel.

Anti-Semitism has surged in American cities and college campuses, with pro-Hamas demonstrators taking to the streets.

Harvard University is among the universities currently facing a backlash after 31 of its student bodies issued a joint statement “holding the Israeli regime fully responsible” for the conflict.

Subsequent protests have begun at the Ivy League school, with Israeli supporters branded “Nazis” after challenging pro-Palestinian demonstrators.

A group of about 150 waving banners and Palestinian flags occupied the steps of Cambridge City Hall.

One was seen stomping on an American flag as he decried the “brutal treatment of Palestinians since 1948.”

Israeli supporters then arrived on the scene, bringing an amplifier and calling the demonstrators “terrorists” and “cowards.”

In a statement published on the Ivy League institution’s website, university President Claudine Gay said the 31 student groups that pledged to support the militants “do not speak for the university or its leadership.”

After 31 campus fraternities and sororities held Israel responsible for “all the unfolding violence,” hedge fund manager Bill Ackman revealed that his fellow bosses want to know who they are so that “none of us accidentally hire one of their members.”

The CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management said he was approached by “a number of CEOs,” adding: “One should not be able to hide behind a corporate shield when issuing statements in support of the actions of terrorists, who, so we now learn, decapitated babies, among other unimaginably despicable acts.”

Jonathan Neman, CEO of food chain Sweetgreen, agreed, tweeting that he “would like to know so I know never to hire these people.”

Jake Wurzak, CEO of DoveHill Capital Management, seconded the call and David Duel, CEO of EasyHealth Healthcare Services, responded, “Same.”

Harvard President Claudine Gay issued a statement on Tuesday condemning the “terrorist atrocities committed by Hamas in Israel” and insisting that the 31 student groups “do not speak for the university or its leadership.”

“Let me also say, on this and other issues, that while our students have the right to speak for themselves, no student group—not even 30 student groups—speaks for Harvard University or its leadership,” Gay said.

The president added: “We will all be well served at such a difficult moment by rhetoric that aims to enlighten, not inflame.

Organizations that signed the letter included Muslim and Palestinian support groups, plus others named from various backgrounds, including Harvard Jews for Liberation and the African American Resistance Organization.
