Nvidia’s most important graphics card might launch as soon as April

>

The release of the Nvidia RTX 4070 seems to be getting closer as a new report comes out, and it might just be the most accessible next-gen graphics card most people can buy in the coming months.

The new report is out video cardz (opens in new tab), who shared a screenshot of an Nvidia GeForce Desktop Embargo timeline supposedly sent to Nvidia’s board partners. The info, most of which is faded or “TBD,” has the On-Shelf date for the RTX 4070 as April 2023, though it doesn’t specify which part of the month.

Take this with a grain of salt, of course, as Nvidia hasn’t said anything official yet, but with the release of the RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti, the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti are sure to be in sooner rather than later, and April 2023 puts it still almost two months away at this point, so this is definitely a believable timeline.
