Nvidia GeForce Now is coming to select VR headsets this month, but only Ultimate and Performance members will have access to RTX and DLSS-supported titles
- Nvidia GeForce Now is coming to VR later this month
- Owners of Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S and Pico can stream titles in the GeForce NOW library
- Only GeForce Now Ultimate and Performance members have access to RTX and DLSS supported titles
Nvidia has announced that GeForce Now is coming to VR later this month.
The news comes from a recent one blog postwhere the company confirmed its plans to bring its cloud gaming service to select VR devices this month, including some of the best VR headsets currently available such as the Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S and Pico 4 Ultra.
These supported devices give members access to the GeForce Now library, allowing them to stream a range of titles when the next version 2.0.70 update arrives.
“Members can transform the space around them into a personal gaming theater with GeForce Now,” Nvidia said. “The streaming experience on these devices supports gamepad-compatible titles so members can play their favorite PC games on a huge virtual screen.”
However, there is a small catch. Only members subscribed to GeForce Now Ultimate and Performance can access RTX and DLSS supported titles.
If users are subscribed to these tiers, it means they can stream their games in 4K resolution depending on the compatible device they are using.
“For an even better visual experience, GeForce Now Ultimate and Performance members using these devices can take advantage of RTX and DLSS technologies in supported games,” the company explains. “Members can enter a world where games come to life on a massive scale, powered by GeForce Now technologies.”
