Nvidia is preparing a pair of new Lovelace models to compete for a place on the list of our best graphics cards, or that’s the word from the GPU grapevine.

The supposed innovations that Nvidia has planned are the RTX 4080 Super, the RTX 4070 Super and the RTX 4070 Ti Super in between.
Get out the salt shaker, of course, and one obvious oddity here is that final model, the claimed ‘Ti Super’, which we’ll get to shortly.
No further details are provided, nor did Hongxing2020 respond to the inevitable questions from other residents of So for the time being we are extra careful with this.
Analysis: Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Super Max Ultimate?
Are there likely to be three new models arriving? We don’t think so, but such innovations are of course perfectly possible; it just seems more feasible for there to be one or two instead of a trio. Obviously we can’t rule anything out, but what we can do is look at the rumor mill elsewhere to compare and contrast.
A refresh of the RTX 4080 has already been the subject of several speculations, so that seems increasingly likely. Notably, another regular source of hardware leaks on
Note that they weren’t sure about the name Ti or Super, and we don’t think anyone could be at this stage. We think it’s highly unlikely that Nvidia will decide to get involved both those suffixes, because this has never been done before, and honestly it would be confusing.
We think what’s probably happening here is that Hongxing2020 believes there will be two new spins on the RTX 4070, a Super, and something else, and that Nvidia will have to call the latter something, so that’s a guess from what Team Green will do. for.
Again, we’re not buying that, and if an RTX 4070 Super is indeed coming, as well as a new twist on the existing RTX 4070 Ti, it’s more likely that Nvidia plans to increase the VRAM on the latter as rumored. Through RedGamingTech recently on YouTube. So the name for this so-called card would be the RTX 4070 Ti 16GB (it would theoretically increase the video memory from 12 GB).
We can imagine that with a little more ease, since it would actually be two innovations and probably a very small additional innovation.
Time will tell, but if there really are three new models in the pipeline, we imagine we’ll hear more about them soon enough. In the meantime, remaining skeptical is the safest bet, although as mentioned, the RTX 4080 Ti appears to be an increasingly strong possibility.
