A basketball tournament featuring scantily clad women at a NJ high school has reportedly been canceled by officials after backlash over an inappropriate promotional video.

The ‘Nuttin But Azz’ tournament was scheduled to take place on July 21 at West Side High School in Newark, NJ, according to a events page.

School board communications director Nancy J. Deering told the site that “no school or district officials were aware of the video until it was posted to social media.

“This was supposed to be a community basketball event sponsored by Council Member Kelly. “Not a single school or district official approved the activity depicted in the video or knew that an event at one of our schools would include such an activity.”
