A woman’s body has been found in an apartment as police launch an investigation into her death.

Forensic detectives were among dozens of officers investigating the two-story brick complex.

The forensic officers were seen going in and out of the apartment complex earlier this afternoon.

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that officers are at the scene, but declined to provide further details.

No arrests have been made and charges have been filed.

Neighbor Emmanuel Kaldani was shocked by what had happened and said the area is usually very quiet.

“I moved in October, it’s quite quiet and friendly, and everyone does their own thing,” he said Courier mail.
