McDonald’s Australia is bringing back one of it’s most popular items after a two-year hiatus

McDonald’s Australia has launched a new treat for chicken nugget lovers to keep warm this winter.

Starting Wednesday, July 17, guests can get their hands on free limited-edition McDonald’s ‘Nuggies’ Ugg boots as part of the restaurant’s ‘BootPursuit’ giveaway.

The comfortable product has a nugget design and is guaranteed to keep your feet nice and warm.

To enter, customers simply need to find a boot-shaped Chicken McNugget, follow the QR code on the packaging and scan the McNugget for a chance to win a prize.

There are only 2,000 Nuggies available, so if you want to win you’ll have to be quick.

Liz Whitbread, senior brand manager for McDonald’s Australia, said: ‘There is a big debate about what is the best shape for a Chicken McNugget: the bone, the bell, the ball or the boot?

‘Known as the dip icon, we’re honoring the humble boot-shaped Chicken McNugget by bringing back one of our most sought-after merchandise collections: Nuggies. But this time, we’re giving away even more.

‘Macca fans, this is your chance to win your very own delicious pair of Nuggies by entering the Boot Pursuit this winter.’

To enter, customers simply need to find a boot-shaped Chicken McNugget, follow the QR code on the packaging and scan the McNugget for a chance to win the tastiest winter accessory.

Nuggies first launched in 2022 as part of a super limited edition giveaway, with over 10,000 Australians competing to win 50 exclusive pairs, with the prizes selling out within six hours.

Customers can participate in the ‘Boost Pursuit’ from 9am AEST on July 17th until 5pm on August 6th.

This comes after McDonald’s unveiled its new winter warming parties, which include new and returning menu items such as Steakhouse Stack, Mozzarella Sticks with Sweet Chili Sauce, Banana Thickshake, Banana Caramel Pie and Banana Caramel McFlurry.
