NSYNC was an American boy band founded by Chris Kirkpatrick in Orlando, Florida, in 1995 and launched in Germany by BMG Ariola Munich.

The group consisted of Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone.

Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass were all photographed in New York this week.

Justin was at the US Open. Joey poses with fans on the street. Lance went to a restaurant. JC Chasez shared a photo on social media of himself on a plane.

Chris Kirkpatrick is the only one not placed in NYC.

Their hit songs are Bye Bye Bye, This I Promise You and I Want You Back.

In late August, it was reported that they were reuniting for roles in the third Trolls film Entertainment tonight.

The group, who had a hugely successful run as a five-piece from 1995 to 2004, are expected to release a new single for Trolls Band Together, which would be their first song together since Girlfriend (2001).

Timberlake was the voice of the character Branch in the first two installments of the franchise films: Trolls (2016) and Trolls World Tour (2020), and he’s back again for the new one expected to be released in November.

The animated film’s trailer offers several hints at the NYSYC reunion with Timberlake, including when Branch and his four brothers would have been in a group together called BroZone.

Reunion! NSYNC is expected to reunite for roles in the third installment in the Trolls film franchise, including releasing their first new song together since 2001’s Girlfriend; they are seen in 2002

In the teaser scene, one of the brothers, Floyd (Sivan), is kidnapped, after which John tracks down Dory (André) Branch in an attempt to reunite the group and rescue their brother.

The dialogue references the reunion using clever puns and several references to the group and other popular boy bands of the same era.

“Branch, we’re out of sync,” Floyd can be heard saying to his brother in a flashback in the trailer. “We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one way to go: the back streets.”

The John Dory character then says, “Branch, it’s time we find the rest of our brothers and get the band back together,” which leads to all five brothers announcing in unison, “Bro time.”

In addition to Timberlake and the four brothers, the cast also includes Anna Kendrick, Camila Cabello, RuPaul, Amy Schumer, Andrew Rannells and Zosia Mamet.

So far, Universal Pictures has not confirmed the news about NSYNC’s role in the film or whether they will actually contribute a song to the soundtrack.

NSYNC last recorded new material in 2002 before going on an indefinite hiatus. During the hiatus, Timberlake announced his departure from the group in 2004, following the success of his debut solo album Justified.

The group would continue as a foursome without Timberlake until 2007, when they officially split.
