A man accused of being the largest producer of animal exploitation content in New South Wales has been charged with more than two dozen additional offences following his initial arrest earlier this year.
Colin Baker, 38, who operates online under the pseudonym ‘Beast Boy’, was arrested at 7.30am on April 30 at a property in Moorland, about 30km north of Taree.
Detectives involved in a broader investigation into sex crimes came across Baker’s online profile in February during a sweep against other alleged child abusers.
He is said to have used coded messages to share material with others showing the sexual abuse of dogs, sheep, goats, chickens and even a dead kangaroo.
After his arrest, detectives reportedly found thousands of videos and images of bestiality and child abuse on his hard drives.
Baker was initially charged with 20 offenses, but was hit with an additional 29 charges on Monday after police completed an analysis of his electronics and hard drives.
Baker is also charged with seven counts of bestiality, five counts of possessing and distributing bestiality material, committing cruelty to animals, possessing child abuse material and 15 counts of using transportation services to access, transmit and solicit child abuse material.
The original charges were eight counts of bestiality, six counts of producing bestiality material, four counts of distributing bestiality material, as well as possessing child abuse material and using a transportation service to obtain and request access to child abuse material.

Police expect more charges to follow.
A dog allegedly sexually abused by Baker was also seized from his property by the RSPCA NSW.
The little white dog, which was reported missing in the Grafton area about five years ago, has now been returned to its owner.
The matter is still before the court and Baker will appear in Taree District Court at a later date.
Police said the investigation will continue under Strike Force Trawler.
