A 75-year-old man is due to appear in court on charges of 21 historic child sex offenses in the NSW Hunter region.
The police assume that the man sexually and indecently abused a girl he knew between 2010 and 2015.
The man was arrested on Wednesday at an estate in Fernances Crossing, southwest of Cessnock.

He has been charged with multiple sex offenses involving children, including sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 10, committing indecent acts with a victim under the age of 10, and using a child under the age of 14 to create child abuse material.
The man is due to appear before Cessnock Local Court later on Thursday.
