NRL WAG Christy Young reveals what game day is like with fiancé Max King – after revealing sex ban

The model fiancé of Canterbury Bulldogs star Max King has lifted the lid on what life is really like as a high-profile NRL WAG.

Christy Young, who recently discussed her decision not to have sex with 22-year-old Max before marriage for religious reasons, shared a TikTok video on Monday capturing what the couple did ahead of Max’s game against the North Queensland Cowboys on weekends.

The clip is titled ‘POV: You’re a WAG and it’s game day’ and begins with Christy arriving at Max’s house on Sunday morning for a Bible study session.

Christy narrates the clip by saying, “We are currently studying our bible together. So we’re just rereading and discussing what we read the night before.”

The couple then spent time playfully throwing a rugby ball around the kitchen before making banana pancakes for breakfast and later on to Glow Church in south Sydney for a morning sermon.

After worship, the couple returned to Max’s house to prepare for his big match at Sydney Olympic Park.

Ever the dutiful bride-to-be, Christy offered to help Max put on a new pair of boots by putting them on and running around the house.

She then filmed herself giving Max a DIY haircut, shaving the lower part of his hair with an electric razor.

“He took a nap and decided at the last minute—honestly, about 20 minutes before he was due to leave—that he needed a haircut. And I had to do the back and it looks so bad,” she mused.

“Anyway, he didn’t care and he was like, ‘Just committed,'” she added.

She then accompanied Max to the stadium for his game and cheered him on from the stands for the rest of the day.

Max suffered a nasty eye injury in a collision with teammate Jacob Preston, forcing him to take time out for medical attention.

“I was flipping out. They wouldn’t let me see him,” Christy said of Max’s emergency on the field.

Fortunately, Max recovered and returned to the field just in time for the Bulldogs to beat the Cowboys 15-14.

“My absolute trooper,” Christy said of Max’s triumphant return.

Speak against Hughesy, Ed and Erin show from 2DayFM in March, the brunette said she and Max talked about celibacy on the first date.

“We’re so loud and proud of our faith… it’s never been something we shy away from because it’s so important to us. We talked about it (staying celibate) early on…on the first or second date,” she revealed.

“Christian Dating 101 is about not wasting anyone’s time, it’s a conversation we don’t shy away from and honestly we’ve seen so much fruit from it in our relationship in terms of communication… it’s just that good.”

Christy laughed as she described being trapped by their pastor with Max and told the radio hosts, “If you want a good guy, find him in the church.”

“If it (sex) doesn’t come first, it’s like we were able to have such good conversations and build our relationship, and we have such a good support system for each other,” she continued.

“It (celibacy) helps his game, in that we have such a good foundation in our relationship,” she added.
