Explicit photos and videos of a high-profile NRL player and his girlfriend will be shown in court as evidence against his ex-wife, who was accused of distributing them.
The court heard on Thursday that the material will be included in the evidence presented by the prosecution at a two-day hearing set for August.
The ex-wife of the NRL player, who has played for his country, has been accused of sharing some of the material with a third party and has pleaded not guilty.

A friend of her son’s allegedly alerted her to the explicit material in October after they discovered the content while playing games on the family iPad.
He had already parted ways with his NRL partner, but his device was connected to their shared cloud account, the daily telegraph informed.
The ex-wife will try to argue that it was “reasonable” that she allegedly shared some of the material with the boy’s father who found it on his iPad.
The court heard last week that she was furious over the pornographic material and contacted her ex-husband to complain about the “disgusting” content, as their children used the iPad.
The woman, her NRL husband and her new partner cannot be identified due to new laws protecting alleged victims of revenge pornography.
He then allegedly threatened the soccer player that he would send the videos and images.
The court heard that the woman “intentionally” sent a snippet of the video to another person on October 17 after allegedly recording videos and images of the player and his new girlfriend having sex.
Her ex-husband then filed a complaint with the police, who executed a search warrant at the woman’s home on October 21.

The court heard that detectives went through the devices at his home and found that he had allegedly sent a message to a third party with an “excerpt” of the content.
Officials allege that she also distributed an image of her ex-husband and his new partner on October 17.
The woman faces one count of intentionally distributing an intimate image without consent and one count of intentionally recording an intimate image without consent.
Prosecutors dropped a single content distribution charge at a court hearing in November; however, he still faces up to three years in prison and an $11,000 fine for the remaining two charges.
The woman will argue in court that she only sent a text message with part of the explicit material to the father of the child who discovered the photos and videos to try to explain the situation.
